Acorn Class’ visit to the Life Education bus
September 25, 2017 Ailsa Boardman Hirst

This morning Acorn Class visited the Life Education bus withHelen as our teacher.

We met TAM and we were able to spot her ribs, her heart, her muscles and her veins. Helen told us that there are 206 bones in our body!

We learnt how important it is to get plenty of sleep at night and we really enjoyed the stars.

Then we learnt about our feelings.

We got to be feeling detectives. We had to decide how the children were feeling by looking at their faces.

We also talked about bullying and used the letters in STOP to help us. Acorns knew that for it to be bullying it had to be several times on purpose. Then we learnt that we had to start telling other people.
