Dear all,
I can’t quite believe where the last six weeks have gone! In that time your children have been working incredibly hard and enjoying life at Stower Provost School. Its been another busy week.
This week the Pool has officially opened. Mr Covell and the rest of the staff have worked hard to make sure that the pool is up to scratch and ready to go! Thank you to all those who have been involved in that. Already every class has swam and it is great to see how confident the majority of the children are in the water. Also this week the children have been very active with a Skipping Workshop on Tuesday. Since then the ‘skipping craze’ has taken a grip at school. We are really keen to encourage this and if you could help us by making sure your child’s skipping rope is clearly named that would be really helpful, thank you. Also this week children from Chestnut’s represented the school fantastically at the Gillingham Area Red Tennis Competition and tomorrow there is a team of Year 4’s going to the North Dorset Kwik Cricket Tournament. Congratulations and Good luck to them all.
Enjoy the half term break and we will see you again on Monday 1st June.
Kind Regards
Martin Marshall

And Finally…..
Its great news about the Stower Vale Pre-School starting their After School Club from Tuesday 2nd June 2015. I know quality child care is something that many parents need and to have an outstanding provider on the schools door step is fantastic for everyone.
