Last Friday, our ‘Stars of the Week’ were Jake, Corleigh, Eleyna and Rubeckia. A Gold Certificate for 30 stars went to Robert, and a Silver to Katie, who also talked about her success in mounted games – Oaks had seen some pictures of her in action which looked impressive (and a little scary!) Jessica and Chloe both received swimming certificates and Owen had a musical theatre award. Silver reading certificates went to Libby, Finley, Jessica, Freddie and Johnny, with Golds to Chloe and Adam. Well done all!

We are looking forward to meeting Mr Whitfield’s bees this afternoon, so thanks to all for returning the permission slips.

Do remember the coffee morning in Kington Magna village hall next Wednesday, 17th May, at 10:30. Donations of cakes or items for sale would be welcome.

As the sun has made an appearance this week, can you please ensure all the children have a sun-hat at school.

SATs. The Year 6 tests are over! The children worked really hard and in a serious manner throughout their tests. Next week it’s the turn of Year 2, and other year groups will be doing tests, although less formal ones, for the school’s own use over the next couple of weeks

Dates for this term:
Farm visit for all children Wednesday 24th May
Last day before the half-term break 26th May

A date for your diary, the school will be involved in various activities at the Stour Provost Street Fair on Saturday 10th June 2-5pm. It should be a fun afternoon so it would be great to see as many families as possible, more details to follow.

Finally please can you check your child for Headlice and treat if necessary.
