Assemblies in October
Celebration Assembly will be cancelled this Friday, 29th October as Dorset LA have requested that I attend a conference.
Harvest Festival is on Friday 6th October. This is another highlight of the year here at Stower Provost Community Primary School. All are welcome to the service at 9am on Friday 6th October 2017, at 9am.
I believe in the past that families are invited to contribute fresh produce and/or non-perishable items for distribution to one local charity – the Trussell Trust, and also to Elgate in Africa. I am told of the amazing generosity within our community and once again, thank you in advance for your contributions, however small. Children may bring their offering straight to the table in the hall on the day of the service.
After the service, light refreshments will be served in the usual fashion and we look forward to seeing as many of you as possible for this special event in the Stower Provost Calendar. Please do try to join us. It would be fabulous if a few parents/carers could assist with the serving of hot drinks.
Normal Celebration Assembly will resume on Friday October 13th, with our weekly awards.
This will be combined with Chestnut Class Assembly.
