9th July 2015

Dear All,
Sorry there was no newsletter last week but I was nobbled by the stomach bug lurgy! But I’m now back and fighting fit ready for the final few days of the term.
Thank you to all those parents and friends of the school who attended the Sports Day yesterday, it was great to see you all there cheering on your children. They all competed brilliantly and we were so lucky with the weather. A big thank you to all the staff and in particular Miss Kamath for her organisation of the event. Let’s hope the sun shines on the PTFA BBQ tomorrow night, please do come along and support us. It’s rumoured there maybe someone worth splatting in the stocks?!
Tomorrow you will receive your child’s end of year report, I hope you find it a pleasing read. Tomorrow is also the last day to get your class photo orders in to the office please.
Kind Regards
Martin Marshall

There is still time to sign up to help at the BBQ. This is a plea from the PTFA for lots of help to ensure that your summer BBQ runs smoothly this year, and with your help, will make it a much more enjoyable event for all involved. The helpers board is filling up but there are still some spaces. Please write your name down on the stall you wish to man and the time slot suitable for yourself. Thank you for your support.

And Finally…..
Preparations are under way for the end of term and the Year 6’s leaving. Year 6 and all the other children enjoyed their ‘Step up’ day last Wednesday. The Year 6 leavers assembly will be at 2pm on Friday 17th July, we hope to see as many of the Year 6 parents there as is possible.
