Well done to Oaks class who had their class assembly on Friday. They were able to tell us about different types of electricity circuits and show the audience how these worked.

Also, congratulations to the Y5/6 Netball team who played really well at the recent Gillingham tournament. Some Y3/4’s also attended the coaching session that was being run alongside the matches. These children enjoyed their session and were a credit to the school.

Stars of the week

Conkers – Joshua for working hard at learning to read and write.

Acorns – Angus for helping others.

Chestnuts – Daniel for ensuring that everyone could take part.

Oaks – Alisha for organising her group fairly.

We have now booked the Carol service at Stour Provost Church at 4pm on Wednesday 13th December.

There will be readings from some of the children and a selection of carols.

If you are able to make this event, it will be lovely to see you there. You might need to bring a torch along with you so that you are able to find your way back to the car.

The Christmas Dinner by Local Food Links is also on Wednesday 13th December. If your child is interested in having this for their lunch, please order through the Local Food Links website.

This Friday it is Children in Need. The children are able to come in non-school uniform (something that reflects your personality). Pudsey will be laid out in the Hall so that your child is able to put any pennies on to him. Children in Need are also accepting old pound coins as well.
