Help and Support
The word ‘community’ is at the heart of not only our school name, yet also in our values and how we commit to being more than just a place of academic instruction. Our ambition is to create and foster a nurturing environment where every child feels safe, and can build lifelong confidence and curiosity. We want children to be confident enough to take well considered risks and see errors as the building blocks to success.
Support extends beyond the classroom through transparent, empathetic partnerships with parents and carers, ensuring there is a respectful bridge between home and school, built on mutual trust.
We invest in the well-being and professional growth of our staff. The school creates a sustainable culture of care that we aim to radiate outwards to ensure that every individual within its circle has the resources and encouragement they need to flourish.
Wellbeing
Our school is committed to the well-being of its entire community. We recognise that academic success is inextricably linked to emotional health.
For pupils, this support starts with the building of strong relationships within the school environment and the creation of a positive "brave space" where children can develop resilience and emotional literacy, through structured social-emotional learning and accessible pastoral care.
Our school’s duty of care extends beyond the classroom. It involves acting as a reliable anchor for parents and carers, developing trusted relationships with open channels of communication, enabling a partnership the collaborates in the best interests of the children.
At Stower Provost Community School we prioritise the well-being of staff, ensuring all feel valued, supported, and mentally equipped to support pupils. By fostering an environment rooted in empathy and proactive support, we aim to be a place where all learn, engage and enjoy, creating an positive environment where every individual can flourish.
Safeguarding
At Stower Provost we aim to create a secure environment where all pupils can learn and thrive without fear. Safeguarding is the responsibility of all staff within our school; with teachers and support staff being proactive to ensure all pupils are safe, healthy, and protected from harm while in school and in their wider lives.
