World poetry day.

World poetry day.
March 23, 2017 Ailsa Boardman Hirst

On world poetry day we listened to Daffodiles by William Wordsworth. We went outside and took photos of daffodiles and tried to get up close. We looked at real daffodiles with a magnifying glass and used oil pastels to draw them. We thought of adjectives and verbs to describe the daffodiles. We painted pictures of daffodiles and wrote our own poems. We then wrote them in our best handwriting ready to take part in the garden show competition.
