19th November

Dear All,

Miss Gale and myself had the pleasure of taking twenty of our pupils to play netball and football fixtures yesterday against Milton on Stour Primary School. It was an absolute pleasure to see children of this school working together as a team and trying their best in competition. The whole event took place in a great atmosphere and was finished off by a rousing three cheers. A much needed lift after the sadness of the events in Paris. Let’s hope the team work, camaraderie and good spirit these pupils showed can be spread a little wider in the world.

Thank you for all your ‘Pennies for Pudsey’ they raised a whopping £62.15 for Children Need and the week before your donations for poppies raised a staggering £59. A huge huge thank you on behalf of both those charities!

I wish you all a peaceful weekend with your families.

Kind regards

Martin Marshall

And Finally……

Just a reminder that a member of staff is on duty at the school entrance from 08:45 to 09:00, in order to answer any queries or to take messages which will be passed on to Mrs Pike or a teacher as appropriate.  If you need to see your child’s teacher then please ask at the door. Do remember that the teacher may not be available – for example he or she might be out on ‘playground duty’.
