24th June 2015

Dear All,
What a ‘Sportastic week’ we have had at Stower Provost School this week. There has been activities happening all week. On Monday we had a visit from Caron Parry’s School of Dance, the children dressed up and learnt how to disco, rock and roll and street dance. We raised an amazing £92.95 for The Macmillan Cancer Trust, thank you for all of your kind donations. Ian Griffin’s Tennis Academy has also been in to serve up some coaching sessions which the children thought were ace! Key stage two thoroughly enjoyed monkeying around and swinging from the trees at Go Ape, they also spent a great day out at Duncliffe Woods on a mini safari and den building. Finally they spent today at Hooke Court raft building and got very wet! Exhausting just thinking about it. Thanks to all the staff that have made this week possible, in particular Mr. Covell and Miss Kamath.
Kind Regards
Martin Marshall
Hall of Fame! Certificate Winners last week.
Last week, 36 of the key stage 2 children went to Yeovil to compete in the area athletic event, they did a great job at representing the school. Some of the children managed to get first, second and third place in their individual events: Ella – 1st long generic levitra vs levitra jump, 1st hurdles, 2nd 600m; Lucy – 2nd throw-ing; Will – 1st hurdles, 2nd 600m, 3rd throwing. Super Effort!
