26th November 2015

Dear All,

Gosh the festive season has arrived! One minute we are waiting for summer to arrive and all of a sudden its four weeks to Christmas! I’m really excited about my first Christmas at Stower Provost School. Casting has taken place for our Christmas production of ‘Scrooge’ and rehearsals begin in earnest next week. There is also our Christmas Tree Assembly coming up next week. This marks the start of Christmas festivities at the school. All are welcome to come and be part of the excitement and celebration of decorating the tree at 9.10 Friday 4th December. Later that day it is the PTFA Christmas Bazaar 3.30 to 5.30 pm, please do come and support.

Also looking further forward there is the School Carol Service at St. Michael and All Angels Church, Stour Provost. This will be held after school at 4pm on Thursday 10th December all are most welcome to come and join in the singing. Also there is the Pantomime visit on Thursday 17th December (Oh yes there is!). These are just some of the highlights of the next few weeks. I can’t wait!

All we need now is some snow!

Kind regards

Martin Marshall

Dark nights

Please could you drive and park with consideration of others in the car park. Can you please remember that the spaces nearest to the school are for staff. Also last Friday night, cars had parked out in the lane and our neighbour had a near miss when pulling out of his drive way. Please think carefully about where you park and remember to leave your side lights on.  As we are entering a busy period and events will be taking place after dark, your cooperation in this would be really appreciated. Thank you.
