Dear All,

The past two week’s activities have summed up the last term for me at Stower Provost School. The production of Scrooge over the past days has shown what fantastic children and staff we have at this school. They have done themselves, you and the school proud! It showed the talents of the children to the full! They have a real growth mind set, which enables them to turn their hand to all manner of challenges. The teamwork on the school production, the confidence to stand up in front of a large audience and perform  and the ability to remember lines and lyrics, just some of the children’s skills on display this week.

Thank you all for supporting the performances, the turn-out was great and thank you to all that attended the Carol Service at the church last week. Another big thank you to all our class readers for supporting the children’s learning and to Mrs Fanner who continues to run the school library. However you support the school it really is appreciated, thank you!

All that is left for me to do now is wish you all a Very Merry Christmas and a Peaceful New Year. I look forward to seeing you all again on 5th January 2016!

Kind regards

Martin Marshall

PS I hope Father Christmas brings you all that you wish for! Only eight more sleeps!

There is a new feature on the school website. There is a new banner that appears at the top of every page which will give the latest information and newsflashes. So for example, if the weather was to turn colder in the new year and the school had to close due to heavy snow fall, this information would appear here. Thanks again to Mel and Gareth Beeson for their continued support of the school website.

School Closures In the event of the school closing due to severe weather, we will notify you via the website banner and Breeze FM 96.6-97.4FM. This decision would be made as early as possible on the day of closure. Also updates on the school reopening would be made via the website and the radio.
