Dear All,

A very Happy New Year! I hope you all had a fantastic holiday and managed some rest in between the festivities. The children have all come back buzzing and ready to learn!

Attached to this week’s newsletter are the dates for the term ahead. These will also be available on the website as is all other useful information about the school. Clubs this term will start week beginning the 18th January, unless stated otherwise. Please see the attached form to sign your child up for a club this term.

We are all looking forward to an action packed term ahead!

Hall of Fame! Certificate Winners

Our stars of the week in Christmas week were all of Oaks class for their fantastic acting in the school play, Owen (Acorns) for his fantastic singing in the play, Jacob and Evie (Conkers) for their kindness shown towards the younger members of the school and Fin (Chestnuts) for contributing more in class.

Bronze certificates were awarded to Rio, Amelie, Jess, Archie and Robert from Oaks. Jasper, Ralph, Oliver, Noah and Peter from Conkers. Keanu, Freddie, Eden, Fin, Kisna and James from Chestnuts.

Chloe (Acorns) received a spelling certificate for 100% correct spellings in the term.

Ella (Oaks) received a certificate for dancer of the term from Faye who teaches street dance.

The following pupils received an attendance badge for 100 % attendance last term – Ebony, Ella, Khali, Rosie, Daniel, Jake from Oaks, Rose, Hannah, Corleigh, Henry, Alfie, Keanu and James from Chestnuts. Eden, Alanah, Ellie C, Ellie K, Lucy, Chloe for Acorns and Tristan, Edward, Jasper, Dylan, Alfie, Angus, Henry, Ashleigh, Annie, Alexandre, Oliver, Peter, Jacob, Vriya from Conkers.

Conkers won the attendance award with 98% attendance that week.

House points winners were Duncliffe in the last week.

Overall winners last term were; in third – Melbury 383, second – Duncliffe 394 and the winners with 424 were Hambledon.

And Finally…… A reminder

 

School Closures In the event of the school closing due to severe weather, we will notify you via the website banner (as above) and Breeze FM 96.6-97.4FM. This decision would be made as early as possible on the day of closure. Also updates on the school reopening would be made via the website and the radio.
