Dear Parents,

Many thanks for those of you who were able to come and watch our Christmas Tree Service. The children enjoyed making their decorations to put on the tree and now the tree looks lovely and festive. A huge thank you to the Chandlers who donated and organised the delivery of the Christmas tree.

It was lovely to have the Pre-school attend one of our Dress rehearsals this Thursday. The children also got an extra treat and joined Conker class for a snack.

Christmas Bazaar

To help the PTFA source the jars for the Hoop the jar stall, we are holding a non-school uniform day on Tuesday 5th December. The children are able to come into school in non-school uniform, bringing a jar filled with sweets as a donation.

Please sign up for a stall if you are able to spare the time. There will be a board displayed at the front of the school for this.

Christmas Nativity

Many thanks for all the reply slips that have come in for tickets for the Nativity.

For the evening performance, the children will need to get to school for 5:30pm so that they are able to change into costumes, if needed or so that the teachers can prepare the children for the evening’s performance. KS2 children will need to come in their school uniform please.

If you have not done so already, please would you return the permission slips, along with the voluntary contribution.

School Closures

In the event of the school closing due to severe weather or any other unforeseen circumstance, we will notify you via: the website, parent mail and Breeze FM 96.6-97.4FM. This decision will be made as early as possible on the day of the closure. Unless you receive information from one of these sources, please presume the school is open. We also ask you kindly not to phone the office on these occasions but to refer to the sources mentioned earlier to find out whether the school is closed.

Please ensure that we have an up to date contact number in case of these events.

Netball, Tag rugby and Snack club have now finished. Many thanks to the children who attended and to the staff and Mr Hoskins who have run these clubs. Information about clubs that the staff will run next term will be given out early in January.

Yours Sincerely

Miss Gale
