Dear all,
I need to say another big thank you! Many thanks to all the parents and friends of the school attending the ‘Meet the new head’ tea party last Friday, I really appreciated the large turn out. It was great to meet so many of you and I apologise if I was unable to talk to you, it was very busy!
I love celebrating success and achievement. I’m sure you will agree it is a really important part of our children’s lives. Each week we have a celebration assembly, where we award certificates and badges to recognise the achievements of our young learners.
I would like to invite you to send in, with your child, achievements they have made outside the school. These can then be celebrated publically within our assembly on a Friday. So if they get a black belt in Karate, Grade 3 in piano or they are district champion at tiddly winks, we can celebrate it and they can be proud of their achievements!
Thank you in anticipation of your support,
Kind Regards
Martin Marshall

Great Day out at Beaulieu
Conker, Hazel and Acorn classes went to Beaulieu this week. They had a fabulous time at the Motor Museum and they even got a ride on the mono-rail! The children did their teachers and parents proud. The highlight of the day was of a ride in a 1920’s Austin 12 and of course the bus ride home! Thank you to the mums who went along to help out. See some photos from the day here.

And Finally…..
I’d like to finish with another thank you. Thank you to Mr and Mrs Trim for refilling our sand pit. With all the lovely weather we have had, the children have really enjoyed using all the new sand. Also thank you to our visitors this week, Mr Bennett, Mr Rose, Mr Ballett and Mr Collins for bringing in their vehicles for the Ks1 transport day and for the very informative talk about flight. This helped to bring the topic alive!
