24th September 2015

Dear All,
I mentioned in last weeks issue that we were hoping to offer even more clubs at school. I’m pleased to announce that from next week there will be a ‘Street Dance’ Club for KS2 (initially) on Fridays after school until 4.30pm. Faye, who will be running the club will be doing a demonstration in assembly, so if your child comes home enthused and you want them to learn some moves, please sign them up on the attached clubs permission slip. If there is a demand for a KS1 club she will also consider running this on another day. There will be a charge of £3 per session.
Also we are lucky to have been able to gain the services of Ian Griffin from Shaftesbury Tennis Club, who is now a level 5 coach (a rarity in the South West). He will be running a KS1 Tennis club on a Thursday after school until 4.30pm. I hope that you feel that your children could benefit from these opportunities and that you will sign your children up. Payment for the block booking £30.
If you have a talent (hidden or otherwise) or skill which you would like to share with our children in school. I’d like to hear from you, we could discuss the possibility of you working with our children. I look what does a generic xanax look like forward to hearing from you. Have a great weekend, which ever team you are cheering on.
Kind Regards
Martin Marshall
Hall of Fame! Certificate Winners last week.
Our stars of the week are Vriya (Conkers), Izzy (Acorns) and Alisha (Chestnuts) for the kindness shown to others.
The spick and span award was awarded to Chestnut class for having the tidiest learning environment.
Jacob (Conkers) received a trophy from North Dorset Rugby club.
Chloe (Chestnuts) received awards at the Gillingham and Shaftesbury show and the Frome cheese festival and will now go onto represent the South West showing her cattle.
Remember if your child has achieved something out of school and would like to bring it in, we will celebrate it!
