Dear All,

The school needs you! – These are exciting times for our School and it’s essential that the “parental voice” is represented on the Governing Body. The governing body of the school is inviting you to stand for election as a parent governor, or nominate another parent to do so. In our school we have provision for four parent governors and we now have two vacancies. No special qualifications are needed. The most important thing is to have a keen interest in the school and be prepared to play an active part in the governing body’s work. If you’d like more information about the role please contact our Chair of Governors, Mrs Sara Vaughan via the school office. If you would like to stand for election please complete the nomination form and return it to the school as soon as possible. This really is a fantastic opportunity to help mould the future of this school.

Next week is Sports Day, please come along at 11.45 and picnic with your child. Then the track events will begin at 1.00. Let’s hope we get some summer weather so that we can have an enjoyable afternoon. See you then.

Kind regards

Martin Marshall

And Finally

We require some ‘people power’ to help set up the forest school. Many of you came forward to offer help earlier in the year, now is your chance! To launch this project we are going to have an ‘Outdoor learning and Den Building Day’ on Wednesday 13th July. Strimming the forest area and moving donations into place for the forest school. Also we also need some bow saw work and hedge trimming. So we could do with a petrol strimmer or two, bow saws and hedge trimmers.

A reminder ……..  If you do have something to offer for the forest school or den building please could you bring it in sooner rather than later, so we know that we have got ready for the day. We will be storing it for the next couple of weeks behind the front wall.
