15th October 2015

Dear All,
A great big thank you to you all for your generous donations for our harvest celebration last week. I am
arranging to take the produce to the local Trussell Trust Foodbank in Gillingham and hoping to take some representatives of the pupil council with me to see the work that they do. It was great to see so many parents, grandparents and friends of the school present at the event, thank you for your support and creating a super atmosphere.

I would also like to say another thank you, to all of the ‘out going’ committee members of the PTFA. They
have served the association brilliantly in the last couple of years and have raised a great deal of money ,
which has provide some great opportunities for the children of Stower Provost School. I would like to
welcome all the new members who joined at last weeks AGM and especially Sam Gray new Chairperson and new Secretary Kate Hillam. There is still a need for a treasurer, Natalie Gilding is happy to give her experience and guidance on this, but would like to hand the reigns on to someone else. Its not too late to join, everyone is welcome.
All your support is appreciated, thank you.
Kind regards
Martin Marshall

Hall of Fame! Certificate Winners last week.
Our stars of the week were all of the children for performing so well in front of a packed hall last Friday for our Harvest Celebration. WELL DONE TO ALL! The rewards will continue this week coming, after a break for the Harvest.
Remember to bring in those achievements from outside of school and be the best you can be! They will all appear in our new ‘Wall of Fame’.

NO STREET DANCE TOMORROW 16TH OCTOBER, a big sorry from Faye.
Please keep the reply slips coming in for the @ Bristol experience.

If you have a Year 6 child, make sure you have applied for a place for next September by October 31st.
Last chance to Vote for the PTFA event if you haven’t done so already! Look in the Foyer.

And Finally…..
We have had yet another offer to run a club within school! I’m really pleased to announce that after half term Mrs Claire Heasman is going to run a sewing club in school. It will be on a Monday after school until 4.30pm. It will initially be for KS2 only and will be for a maximum of 10 children. So if you are keen to be a ‘Sewing Bee’, sign up and be the best that you can bee!!!
