Dear All,
Welcome back! We had a fantastic day at @ Bristol yesterday. The children had a super experience, learnt lots and were an absolute credit to you all day. Despite the long journey the children made the most of every minute they had at the centre and the highlight was the planetarium show. A big thank you to all the staff and especially to all the parents who gave up their time to accompany the children on this great day!
I hope you have noticed the Wow work in the foyet, it looks fab! This will be updated regularly and each child that has their work displayed will receive a special wow badge to wear with pride. Also we have given out the first bronze certificates for achieving 10 stars! An excellent achievement in just the first half term. These children have medals hanging in the foyer to mark this achievement. As these grow in number they will appear around the school walls. Keep a look out!
Enjoy bonfire night celebrations with you family this weekend and please keep safe.
Kind regards
Martin Marshall
Hall of Fame! Certificate Winners last week.
Our stars of the week were; Noah (Conkers), Owen (Acorns), Chloe (Chestnuts) and Cameron (Oaks) who have all received certificates for being good friends.
Miranda and Jacob from Conkers, Leighton and Betsy from Acorns, Ollie and Emilie from Chestnuts and the whole of Oaks class received a wow award from Mr Marshall for their work that has been displayed in the front entrance. The tag rugby team recently attended a rugby festival at North Dorset rugby club where they all played really well.
Bronze certificates were awarded to Connor (Oaks), Sam, Drew, Poppy and George T (Acorns) and Finley (Conkers). Our first bronze certificates in the whole school.
Remember to bring in those achievements from outside of school and be the best you can be! You will all appear on our ‘Wall of Fame’.

For your information
The curriculum overview for each class will be out next week. We are currently reviewing what information to share with you and how best to present this.
And Finally…..
Could I please ask that you don’t bring dogs on to the school site. We recently had a visit from county and it was noted that dogs were on school premises. Due to the hygiene risk to the children we are not permitted to allow dogs on the school site, this includes the school car park. Thank you for your cooperation in this.
