Dear All,

Next week Wednesday 16th November there is Movie Night in school! The film is The Angry Birds. The evening starts at 5 and finishes at 7pm. It should be a great evening. Thank you to the PTFA for organising this, it should be a great evening. Also this weekend the PTFA are organising a working party to plant a great number of tree saplings. These will be used to screen the swimming pool from the car park and also to create a boundary around the Forest schools area. If you are able to assist in this, please come to school at 2pm this Saturday. If lots of us turn up it shouldn’t take too long!

Next week is Anti Bullying Week in school and the theme is ‘Power for Good’. The children will understand the ways in which they are powerful and encourage individual and collective action against bullying and create the best world possible. This will also include looking at ways children can deal with cyber bullying.

Hope to see you on Saturday.

Kind regards

Martin Marshall

PTFA Non School non-school uniform on Friday 25th November – Please bring in a filled jar of sweets for the Christmas Bazaar Hoopla Stall. Thank you.

And Finally……

A reminder about the start of the day.

The children of Conkers class have now started to be dropped off at the front door at the start of the day, this started today and it was very successful. Thank you for being brave parents and allowing them to grow in their independence! For all other parents it is important that you also drop your child at the front door. There is always a member of staff on duty at the door. So if you have any messages they can be passed on to other staff. The main reason for this is it allows the day to start on time at 9am. Please remember that your child must be in school by 9am or they are marked as late if they arrive after this time, an unauthorised absence.

Your cooperation in this is really appreciated, thank you.
