For the second time this year we have been able to take advantage of our proximity to Duncliffe wood and walk with years 2-6, this time to see the carpets of bluebells the wood is famous for at this time of year.
With spring well and truly in full swing, the circular route through the wood also took in other aspects of the natural world. The children noticed where regeneration was occurring after the horse logging they watched in January, live and dead wood habitats and the range of flowers blooming under the trees.
A big thank you to all the family members who came along. Your support adds a huge amount to these events.
