To further enrich the children’s learning in Geography, Chestnut Class had a French-themed day.
The children enjoyed coming into school dressed in blue, white and red with some accessories.
They took part in making a flamiche which is a recipe from Northern France, watching a chef demonstrate how to chop vegetables in different ways, researched a region of France to compare with Dorset and had an extra French session with Mrs Batten.
