This morning we started with the Chestnut’s assembly see the page for more details.

Star of the week are Archie (Oaks), Angus( Conkers), Kisna (Chestnuts) and the whole of Acorns.

Silver certificates were awarded to Alisha and William (Chestnuts) and Darren (Oaks). 

Our second Gold certificate was awarded to Rose (Chestnuts). 

Year 3 and 4 pupils took a team to play football at the Gillingham school festival. Players were James, Ollie, William, Matthew, Henry M and Rose (Chestnuts). They represented the school fantastically despite the horrible weather.

Year 5 and Year 6’s played football this week, narrowly missing a semi-final place. Darren, Jake, Rio, Connor, Ebony, Khali, Daniel and Charlotte all received certificates.

Year 5 and 6 pupils swam at St Mary’s, Shaftesbury. Ollie W, Thea, Rosie, Ebony, Jess and Ella. All of the pupils received certificates relating to the events they took part in.

Swimming certificate for Emilie stage 6 and Esme stage 2 were shared.

Ollie C won a certificate and belt for being student of the month at Tae-kwon -do.

We sang Happy Birthday to Sam B, Eleyna and Roxy (Acorns) and Olive K (Conkers).

The spick and span was awarded to Chestnut class and the 100% attendance was awarded to Acorn class.

House points – Hambledon and Melbury had 45 points. Duncliffe had 29 points.

Overall leaders are Melbury so far this half term.
