Friday 9th June 2017

Just before half-term, our ‘Stars of the Week’ were Summer, Ruby and Eleyna. Noah, Ethan, Rocco and Johnny all received silver certificates, and Keanu gained his silver reading certificate. From ‘out of school,’ Esme, Freddie and Martha all brought in ASA swimming certificates. Well done all!

Swimming: Obviously, the weather’s been dismal since we got the pool going. Nevertheless, the children are going in, however wet and cold the day is. We will be starting after school swimming next week, and children went home with a ‘booking’ letter yesterday. Do encourage your child to bring wet swimming kit home between sessions.

Athletics: Can I make a plea for any outstanding permission slips for the area athletics to be handed in? Also, the organisers have asked me to remind parents that the covered stand is for athletes (and officials) only, and that spectators must stay outside of the running track. Many thanks. We’re hoping for sunnier weather, so please equip your athletes with a hat and sun-cream.
